A new range of faux leather wall tiles form the US are finding favour with consumers all over the world
US-based Concertex has recently introduced faux leather wall tiles under the brand name NappaTile.
Manufactured using nature-friendly mineral board and faux leathers, the product provides designers with an infinite number of design possibilities.
“We have been receiving tremendous response to this product worldwide,” says a spokesman for Concertex.
“Our goal was to introduce a new generation in tiles that combined the luxurious look of faux leathers with the artistic element of mosaic tiles. Unlike the commonly used stone, ceramic or porcelain tiles, faux leather tiles emanate a feeling of warmth and comfort.”
The product can be used for residential and contract applications.
“We wanted to create tiles that could be used in all areas of a house -- living room, bedroom, kitchen and hallways -- as well as having the durability to be used in the most heavily trafficked commercial areas,” says the spokesman.
“All of our standard designs come pre-backed with a 3M peel and stick permanent adhesive for easy installation. Simply peel the backing of a mosaic and apply it to the wall within minutes. We also offer a complete customisation programme with the option to choose from over 1,000 different faux leathers, faux suedes, textiles, and glass beads to create your own mosaic. Tiles are offered in regular, padded, stitched, buttoned and diamond formats.”
Concertex is America’s premier source of environmentally friendly decorative surface materials featuring a wide selection of textiles, leathers and wallcoverings.
The company offers interior designers and architects endless possibilities with its innovative technologies. Its product range includes EcoSkin and Olenox – polyurethane and olefin based commercial wallcoverings; Enchanting – unrivalled sparkling glass beads, and Incognitus – faux leather wallcoverings with natural surfacing technologies. |
