Showcases interior design products

More than 35 designers and manufacturers are set to showcase Italian design at the three-day interactive Italian Luxury Interiors (March 4-6, 2010) to be held at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. Francesco Alfonsi, the UAE-based Italian Trade Commissioner said that event has already drawn great interest from the region’s trade buyers, as well as design consultants and architects.

The event is designed as an interactive living zone across several themes, uses a cross-section of fused concepts and products and is a collaborative effort between participating companies. The living zone concept has been created by Italian architects Attilio Lapietra and Tiziana Burrini from ARTEX, the Centre for Artistic and Traditional Handicrafts of Tuscany.
