Hotel trends until 2015 featured
With 224 pages, 320 images and a wealth of quality designs, Hamburg-based interiors outfit JOI-Design has launched its first book Raum.Werte: Creating Hospitality Design.
The lavishly illustrated volume showcases the German agency’s work in the hotel and restaurant sector. Interviews with well-known frequent travellers and industry professionals reveal the key elements of successful hospitality design.
As a special highlight, futurologists look forward to the hotel trends of 2015 with JOI-Design managing director Peter Joehnk saying: “We are often asked our opinion on the forthcoming trends in the field of hospitality design. Now we have put our experiences, our ideas and our vision to paper.”
The volume is divided into seven chapters. The design.projects section features an extensive overview of JOI-Design’s works with an overview of each project providing readers with a clear idea of the specific requirements of each project and the various phases and their realisation.
“We wanted to strike a balance between in-depth information and communicating a general impression of each project that offers readers an insight into our working methods,” said Corinna Kretschmar-Joehnk, co-author of the book and also a director of JOI-Design. |
