The ‘didit’ collection is easy to assemble as well as dismantle
TOP Belgium-based furniture manufacturer Unilin has launched a collection of click-furniture with the introduction of ‘didit’, a new DIY (do-it-yourself) furniture concept.
didit uses the Uniclic for furniture system, which is based on the successful Uniclic system of Quick-Step laminate flooring.
The didit collection is unique in the marketplace. It is easy to assemble, anyone can put this furniture together, as well as dismantle quickly and easily, a statement said.
Each item of the collection comes in a sealed, easy-to-transport pack, enabling users to simply click the furniture together. The click-join system enables the separate parts of the furniture to be firmly joined to each other. It is usually connected at two points only and have to be fastened using an array of screws and accessories. Each piece of didit furniture is made from top-quality, melamine sheets.
The company handles the entire production process, from raw material to end-product, from the tree, right through to the finished item. It also designs the furniture.
didit furniture is finished with MDF backing for optimum quality. The collection comprises bookcase, desk with set of drawers and open wall cabinet, bed, wardrobe (three or two-doors, with or without drawers), bedside table, lounge table and TV cabinet.
The range is available in seven different finishes ranging from light Whisper Oak and warm Italian Walnut to the dark Midnight Black. |
