Fit-out specialist to equip 314 rooms at Sheraton and Aloft hotels in Bursa

AHK, leading fit out contracting company whose co-headquarters are in the UAE and Turkey, has recently signed a contract for the full fit-out and FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment) packages for Sheraton and Aloft, two Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide properties in Bursa, Turkey.

AHK will be responsible for equipping a total of 314 rooms, including 22 suites, two restaurants and a ballroom.

Located on the south-east shore of the Sea of Marmara, approximately 235 km from Istanbul, Bursa is the fastest growing city in Turkey. The new development is intended to be a favorite choice for Turks and tourists who will visit Bursa, which is one of the preferred destinations for the GCC citizens because of its greenery and warm springs.

“The project is a rare combination of a luxury brand and a business brand,” says Haldun Kilit, the board chairman of AHK Interiors.

Kilit: Exciting addition to projects portfolio

This is AHK’s first work for Starwood Hotels.  Kilit says; “Among all other brands such as Hilton, Rixos, Movenpick, Paloma, Radisson and Intercontinental, we are excited to add Starwood Hotels with a unique project to our portfolio.  This is a fast-track project which must be completed in seven months.  We hope this project will be followed by other Starwood brands that are aggressively expanding in Turkey.”

AHK is also at the final stages of contract negotiations for full fit-out and FF&E works for two other luxury brands in Istanbul and UAE.
