“ A lot of time is lost during design and building mock-up says Haldun Kilit, chairman of AHK Interiors. Although today’s technology helps designers, investors and contractors visualise the end product in 3D format. But when they see the real product in the form of mock-up there are requests for changes by the different parties involved. A lot of time goes before the design is finalised.
“With AHK D-Hotel, we have gone a step further and come up with different design concepts to choose from. It gives everyone a chance to see the end product at the beginning of the process and propose any changes they may want to. At the same time MEP designers and contractors also get an opportunity to test their design and systems on our existing mock-up.
“AHK D-Hotel will not only save significant design time for the clients, but will also help them adjust the project schedule and budget. Architects will also benefit from AHK D-Hotel by knowing very early what the ID of the property will be like,” he adds.
AHK D-Hotel line also caters to the needs of those who wish to renovate their existing facilities or to convert existing buildings to hotels. |
