Al Meera Holding signs franchise deal with Index Living Mall Company

QATAR-BASED Al Meera Holding Company said it has sealed a franchise agreement with Thailand-based Index Living Mall Company (ILM) to open its furniture stores across the country under the Thai brand. 

As per the franchise agreement, Al Meera Holding has the exclusive rights to establish and operate home furnishing stores in Qatar under the name of  Index Living Mall, in conformity with the standards and guidelines developed and owned by ILM.

In addition to this, the Qatari group will have the exclusive right to develop and operate in Egypt, Jordan and Oman, stores or businesses under Index Living Mall trade names or trademarks for a period of three years, said a top official.

“Our expansion strategy does not only encompass increasing the retail area of our supermarkets, but also expanding our product offerings to our customers,” said Al Meera’s deputy CEO Dr Mohammed Al Qahtani.

“Our agreement with ILM, a global brand based out of Thailand providing premium home furnishings, is well within the realm of our expansion plan. We are extremely pleased and delighted that ILM has entrusted us with their brand, and we look forward in launching the brand in Qatar shortly,” he added.
