Using cutting-edge digital technology, RAK Ceramics has launched a range of natural finish porcelain tiles
RAK Ceramics, the world’s largest ceramic tiles and sanitary ware manufacturing company, has introduced a collection of porcelain tiles that not only give a natural look, but also blend harmoniously with any surrounding.
The new products from the UAE company include Pizzara, Quartzite, Yoho Marble and Royal Cremosa.
Pizzara and Quartzite are porcelain tiles manufactured using latest digital printing technology to provide distinctively designed floor tiles having natural rustic finish.
“Pizzara has the rustic feel of a natural material and is available in infinite shades. In keeping with the building architectural style apart from its aesthetic appeal, Pizzara is a practical rational option for today’s urban living, says Dr Khater Massaad, CEO, RAK Ceramics.
“Quartzite is inspired by the natural granular material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles. Quartzite conveys the sensual values of a tile which has the touch of elegance elevating the aesthetic feel of any given space.”
Pizzara is available in sizes of 60 by 60 cm while Quartzite is available in 30 by 60 cm size.
Yoho Marble and Royal Cremosa are polished porcelain tiles designed adopting latest digital printing technology that gives marble finish which enhances the natural look of both residential and commercial interiors. Yoho Marble and Royal Cremosa are available in sizes of 60 by 60 cm.
In addition to the above products, the company also manufactures Sandust porcelain floor tiles (30 by 60 cm) designed to reflect the splendour of the Arabian desert and developed using the Chroma printing technology, Birchwood wood-finish porcelain tiles available as an alternative to wooden floorings in sizes of 30 by 60, 60 by 60 and 15 by 60 cm and the Supreme Collection of polished floor tiles which includes Ridge, Crest and Ornate tile designs.
Amongst the wall tiles, RAK Ceramics has launched 25 by 70 cm and 20 by 50 cm tile collections.
Gres Porcellanato models that were developed recently include Aqaba (30 by 60 cm), which is influenced by Jordanian stone; Aleppo Stone (45 by 45 cm), which is developed using hi-definition digital printing to give it a rustic stone/lapato finish; and Bevel Rock, which offers a bevelled finish that gives a unique texture on the tile, allowing the surface to have an embossed designer look.
Besides the above ranges of products, RAK Ceramics has also launched tiles for children’s segment under the brand Junior Tiles Collection that includes washrooms, kindergarten, schools and kids areas in shopping malls, and hospitals in a bid to cater to the needs of the market.
The company has also signed an agreement with world-renowned glass artist Jean Claude Novaro, who has opened a new factory in Ras Al Khaimah, to design an exclusive range of RAK Ceramics’ Luminous range tiles. The partnership is expected to generate major interest in the global market.
