APID and BIID agree on Dual Membership

Professional members to benefit

The UAE-based Association of Professional Interior Designers (APID) and the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) have come to an agreement whereby APID Professional Members are eligible for International Dual Membership in BIID.

The British Institute of Interior Design is the only body for interior design to be called an Institute as granted by the Secretary of State in 2009.

Dual members can thus use both BIID and APID suffixes beside their name, have the permission to use the logo on all marketing materials, access the members-only area on the BIID website and receive all newsletters.

Dual members can attend BIID conducted continuing professional development courses. When working in the UK, dual members will be able to use the ID/10 and the Short Contract jointly published by BIID and RIBA.

APID Professional Members whose membership is currently active can apply. For application forms and more information please mail: office@apid.ae
