A new company offering design-led interiors solutions for environmentally-conscious businesses has arrived in the UAE.
Originating from Denmark, Twenty1 Middle East brings the concept of sustainability delivered through interior design, to the UAE. The investors behind Twenty1 Middle East, the Scan-Thor Group of Companies and OTTO International, manage a number of leading mail order and retail groups across Europe, the United States and the Middle East including the Otto Group Hamburg – operators of the world’s second largest online retail website (www.otto.de) and the world’s largest mail order group.
A new 2,000 sq m showroom facility located at Mina Zayed, Abu Dhabi, will be the centrepiece behind a sustained drive by Twenty1 Middle East to deliver viable design-led interior solutions for living and working spaces for the increasing environmentally-conscious businesses that operate within the UAE. The company will focus on supply and installation of office and home furniture for the contracts market while also specializing in turnkey commercial interior fit-out.
Torben Hildebrandt, managing director of Twenty1 Middle East, says, “UAE businesses are becoming increasingly aware about the challenge to deliver working and living spaces that are environmentally-conscious but all too often translating this awareness into positive action is far harder to achieve. Twenty1 Middle East will focus on the supply and installation of office and home furniture for the contracts market while also specialising in turnkey commercial interior fit-out.”
Twenty1 Middle East will represent exclusive brands of furniture manufacturers from Europe and Asia including Dan-Form, Fumac, HÅG A/S, Ege, Tvilum-Scanbirk A/S, Dieffebi, Lameirinho, LASA and Variér Furniture A/S. |
